Operational and training objectives
- Understand the rules governing the offsetting of tax losses within a tax consolidated group (identification of thresholds conditions for offsetting)
- Manage individual tax losses and tax group particularly in the event of a change in activity, perimeter or restructuring (enlarged basis)
- Understand the mechanisms applicable to the exit of a company, reorganisations affecting one or more group member or restructurings impacting the group as a whole
- Anticipate and control the tax consequences of such events (neutralisation / de-neutralisation mechanisms)
- Manage filing obligations and master the key elements relating to exit agreements (e.g. compensation of exiting subsidiaries, management of post-exit tax audits)
